Checklist & Deadline Dates

AUGUST 14-16, 2013 – WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY

Contract Deadline Date: APRIL 14, 2013
WEDNESDAY – 9 am – 6 PM – Doors will open at 8 am for appointments only
THURSDAY – 9 am – 6 PM – Doors will open at 8 am for appointments only
FRIDAY – 9 am – 5 PM – Doors will open at 8 am for appointments only

AUGUST MARKET DEADLINE – APRIL 14, 2013 – THIS IS A WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY SHOW

MARKET FEE PER PERSON – Everyone working in your booth will be responsible for a $150 market fee. No one will be allowed on the premises without a badge during show hours, and badges will not be issued until all fees are paid. Company executives are welcome and invited to participate at no charge. Proper credentials are required.

ADVERTISING CONTRACT DEADLINE – JUNE 3, 2013

SET UP DAY – TUESDAY, AUGUST 13, 2013 – 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

NEW EXHIBITORS

If this is the first time you are exhibiting in The Atlanta Shoe Market, you are responsible for the initiation fee and the 2013 SEST dues. First time exhibitors are not responsible for late fees.

POINTS

Membership in Southeastern Shoe Travelers Association is necessary in order to keep your points on an updated accrual basis. Membership in SEST is also required for participation in The Atlanta Shoe Market.

LOCATION/ASSIGNMENT

Space is assigned first by category of merchandise, secondly by points. The Rooming Committee has the right to assign booth locations based on the size and structure of the booth. All exhibitors having constructed booths must submit their booth plans with their contract by the APRIL 14, 2013 deadline date.
    1. Galleria Centre – Cobb Galleria Ballroom – Cobb Galleria Mall Level – Grand Ballroom, Renaissance Hotel – 10 x10 booths fully equipped and draped, lighted open booths. Phone service and additional electric is available at an extra charge. Shepard Exposition Services will be sending you a registration packet with that information included. Wireless internet service is provided complimentary.
    2. Hotel Showrooms – located in the Renaissance Waverly Hotel connected to the Galleria Centre. Exhibit floor $134 per night plus 14% tax, four-night guarantee.
    3. Meeting Rooms / Suites– located in the Cobb Galleria Centre adjacent to the Registration Desk and on the Mall Level (lower). All meeting rooms and suites come with draped tables and chairs. Exhibitors are responsible for the rental of their etageres, phone service and additional electric.

 

BOOTH EXHIBITORS

Please note the suggested furnished booth set-up plans. This has been done for your convenience. When you arrive in your booth, the booth will be set-up according to your preference. Please mark your booth preference on your registration form. If there are any changes to your booth set-up after your arrival, you will be charged a $75 change fee. Your tables will be fully draped in show colors at no extra charge to you. Etageres can be ordered directly through Shepard Exposition Services. Please look for that form in the Shepard packet, which will be sent directly to you in DeJunecember and return that form directly to Shepard Exposition Services.

HOTEL, MEETING ROOM & SUITE EXHIBITORS

HOTEL, MEETING ROOM & SUITE FEES- $150 MARKET FEE PER PERSON AND $265 ASSESSMENT FEE PER ROOM FOR ANYONE SHOWING IN THE HOTEL, MEETING ROOM OR SUITE. Be sure to include your check, issued to the Renaissance Waverly Hotel, or credit card number and expiration date to guarantee your exhibitor hotel room. If you wish to check in before Tuesday, August 13, 2013 you must notify the SEST office. Remember this is a 4-night guarantee. The Atlanta Shoe Market will provide a door sign to each Renaissance Waverly Hotel Showroom.

IMPROPER PAYMENT/LATE FEES

There is a $75 fine for contracts postmarked after April 14, 2013. This will be strictly enforced! Also if your contract is received without proper payment, it will be returned. NO ONE WILL BE ASSIGNED A SPACE UNLESS PAYMENTS ARE MADE IN FULL. You may pay with Visa, MasterCard, Amex., check or cash.

MATERIAL HANDLING

There is a charge based on weight per shipment. There is a minimum weight charged, and this charge will be placed on any item that is sent to the Galleria for the exhibitor.
